Denial of Service Attack on CNN by Chinese Hackers

A quick ping of CNN.com shows 100% packet loss right now, as I write this. Could this be a Denial of Service attack on CNN by Chinese Nationalist nationalist hackers? There is supposedly an attack scheduled for tomorrow according to some reports. Dark Visitor has an ominous clock counting down for the attack, as well as a list of the many Chinese sites that call for the attack (which I'll reprint below).

Danwei says that in addition an anti-CNN protest scheduled for Saturday in LA, there are now many Chinese showing "Broken-Heart" CNN on their IM clients, as well as the "Heart" China that I previously reported.

So why is CNN not working today? Are there some hackers out there who just can't wait for the deadline?

The plot thickens...
